Hot summer prints

Just in time for this hot and humid weather, the latest from one of our favourite Sydney designer labels. Cotton prints in voile and poplin , crepe de chine and crinkle georgette silk in prints and plain , and swimsuit nylon/lycra in their exclusive prints and designs.

Great for those sundresses we love to wear....before winter stocks start to hit the floor!!!!

They're here.......New Japanese Arrivals

Got to work today and guess what was delivered?........... our latest Japanese fabrics! I have been looking at small samples for so long, it is so nice to see them finally in the full piece. And they are divine!

Adrian is now busy preparing them , to be sent to all the stores. They will be in Tessuti next week. This is just a small selection....of a stunning lot of cottons, voile, linen/cotton ,etc.

Why I love Melbourne

Sorry there haven't been any posts lately. Lately, I have just spent 4 fantastic days in my other favourite city , Melbourne with Gabby and Claudia to catch up with family.

27 Dresses

Today I took my daughters to see the movie 27 Dresses with Katherine Heigl. It's school holidays and the girls wanted to go to the movies with me and so we decided on this chick flick.

I love Katherine Heigl on Greys Anatomy and the girls love James Marsden ,since seeing him in Hairspray.... and ,I don't think he's too bad either!!!! It was a light hearted , predictable romantic comedy ,but, I have to say the best bit was seeing a scene where the character played by Judy Greer was wearing a Dolce and Gabbana dress in the satin stretch black/red floral ,we are currently stocking this season, bought on our last buying trip in Italy.

Our two Sues

A while ago a lovely friendship was struck at our Chatswood store between Sue ,who has been working with us for some years and Sue who travels from Noosa to visit us in Sydney ,on her fabric hunting shopping sprees.

Not only do they share the same name,and could easily be mistaken for sisters but have the exact taste in fabrics. Seen here on a night out (and for a bit of a laugh) they both decided to show off their recently made up stunning Italian silk/elastane skirts Vogue2607 skirt teamed back with a lovely silk mesh blouse from Jigsaw that they both liked and purchased.

As you can see from the photo , they are gorgeous friends and lots of fun to be around.
