Things I loooove about Italy

walking cobblestoned laneways (and the shops on either side)...

Balconies that make you want to call out to Romeo, Romeo...

Picture postcard scenes. Everywhere...

Views looking up...

Views looking down...

Mercati...

Everyday places that still give you goosebumps...

The cute combo that is a vespa and a man who looks like he's stepped straight out of The Sartorialist...

Fabric!

More (Missoni!) fabric...

Still more fabric (coming soon to a store near you)...!

  8. Now you've got me really excited. My husband and I will be in Italy next month and among the places we will be visiting are Bologna and Florence (as well as Rome, Pompeii, Orvieto, Venice and Padua) so thanks for the preview! It's been 16 years since we were last in Italy, so you can understand our excitement. I've left space in my suitcase for lots of fabric, of course.
