Remember this post from a few weeks back? Well, a few customers and bloggers have asked for some measurement details so here y'go (and oh-so-sorry for the delay)... click on image to enlarge.

In the end, I shortened my length by about 8cm. Colette didn't shorten her top at all. Please note all measurements are in centimetres and include seam and hem allowances. Also, front and back pattern pieces are cut on the fold.

Happy sewing!

UPDATE: Thanks to Nichola.....You can now download 'Our Fave Top' pattern here . Plus don't forget to add a pic of your finished top to the Tessuti Flickr group :-).
You are the best! Can't wait to start sewing! Thanks, Linde
ReplyDeleteThank you!! I've been checking the blog daily for this post!
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous! What sort of size does it make up to?
ReplyDeleteJacqui,
ReplyDeleteThis top would make a size Small to Med. You could add to the side seams and sleeves to grade up a size bigger.
do you think I can make with other fabric than jersey? more of a rayon kind of fabric?
ReplyDeleteAnd how do u think it would look if it is very long?
Hi Vera,
ReplyDeleteYes I have seen it made long and it looks great! Yes you can make it in a soft woven like cotton voile, rayon (would be lovely) etc. You will just need to make it wider at the side seams of the arms, otherwise you will not get your hand through. But you still want to retain the look of it fitting comfortably at the elbows.
you can see it made up in a woven here...
