Gabby's Linda checked skirt

Here's my daughter Gabby's latest creation made at Bernadette's sewing class last week. She decided on a shorter version of Burdastyle's Linda for a cute circular skirt in Tessuti's Italian 100% Wool 'Dash Check Brown'. She's absolutely chuffed to have sewn a skirt with zipper and hand sewn blind hem! But most importantly is that this new skirt goes back with her absolute favourite accessory for this coming winter... the Chuck Taylor All Star Converse sneakers...which we trekked all over Sydney, just to get our hands on a pair!
