School Holidays Sewing Class - take 2

The last school holiday sewing classes proved that successful that these 3 talented ladies went back for another lesson with Bernadette .

This time Bernadette got the girls to sew up a simple gathered skirt. No pattern used, the girls cut their chosen fabrics into two rectangles - approx 50cm long and 110cm wide. The waist casing has a frill edge and the skirt hem is wide and trimmed with ric -rac.

Here are the girls modelling their own creations, straight after class (top to bottom) in Liberty of London Tatum Navy, Japanese cotton Hokko Bowtie Red and Liberty Of London Blue Poppy. How cute are they? ...even accessorised for me in advance!
