Grey Boiled Wool Knit Cardi.

Meet Janette, another regular Tessuti customer and avid fan of any wonderful textured jersey knit and who also happens to make the most wonderful shawls, jackets and cardigans, amongst other things. Popping into Tessuti Chatswood today, Janette was wearing this stylish shawl collared long-line cardi, made from our Italian boiled wool knit in Grey Marle. The simple pattern is her own clever creation, very similar to these two styles from Vogue patterns - only with added patch pockets and neck band edging.

Thanks Janette... we look forward to seeing more of your work...don't we?

I love the shawl you made. I would like to know if anyone have a instruction sheet that convert the meters of material into yards of material. I am confuse when I want to buy fabric and cannot figure out what equal a yard. I need help. Thanks.

  2. Hi wandafountain,

    1 Yard = 91.44 Centimeters

here is a site that will convert yardages into metres

I will be sure to add a table to our website...just have to ask Ken our web guy to do it!

    best Colette

  3. I just want to live in a wardrobe of this fabric! I now have 3 pieces and they are on pretty much every day. Lovely to wear, soft and the drape is magnificent.
