Evie's Village Frock

I am a loooooong time reader of Sugar City Journal and purchased this utterly divine Village Frock pattern about two years ago. It's one of those lovely patterns that is such a pleasure to sew because of its easy-to-follow instructions in a booklet that is put together with all the love and care you just wish you could find in every pattern. And when the kid is all dressed up in her frock, I just want to whisk her away to a flower-filled, country field. Cue skipping and one large wicker basket.

I made this up in a red, yarn-dyed linen that is no longer available. But with warmer days ahead (or so they say), there is an abundance of lovely linen in our stores and online. Tania - a regular Melbourne customer - made up her version in our Medium Bleached Chambray Cotton.

Unfortunately, the pattern is no longer available but email Lynne if you're interested as she kindly said she may have a few left. And check out other Sugar City creations on their Flickr page.

Thanks Lynne and Melissa for creating such a beautiful design!
