Last weekend I made this dress for Gabby from McCalls 5578 in this pretty mini floral 100% Cotton Tana Lawn Liberty print - Eloise Sand. View A was cut as I was worried about the longer all-in-one sleeves bunching up under the arms and left off the sleeve cuffs, instead trimming the sleeve edges with a grey cotton torchon lace. Gabby's dress sits shorter, minus the contrast hem band and we decided to leave out the side pockets.
As you can see, she loves it! Think I'll definitely use this pattern again, it's super easy and quick to make and will be a great block for some other variations.
Oh!..... and look who's excited about her very first Dr Martens. Only wish I'd kept my old ones!!
