Timmmmber!

Just literally minutes ago, this gumtree branch came down landing smack in front of Tessuti Surry Hills store narrowly missing pedestrians and Gregs van, as he was in the process of backing out of the loading dock!

Happy to report that no one was hurt.

  1. Gosh luckily no one was hurt! I can imagine the crash especially after losing large trees here in the cyclone..... Quite frightening!
Hope Greg now buys a lotto ticket or something....:) as he was very lucky indeed! Assume you are also having bad weather there then.... Or just one of those freak gum tree renowned incidents....????
So pleased to hear that none of you guys or the shop received any damage! But sad for the tree..... :(

  3. I walked past you yesterday at about this time of day. I cannot believe it! Did it fall of its own accord?

  4. So glad no one was hurt, they are called "widow makers" for a reason.

  5. Widow makers, that's funny. This tree should have come down ages ago. It has been trying to tell us as it has been droping branches for years.

  6. So the lady jumps online to blog about it instead of comforting her poor frightened traumatised husband!
