Sew the fabulous Lily dress just in time for summer days ahead. The Lily Linen Dress Sew Inn workshop is a custom class to be held at Tessuti Fabrics, Melbourne* on Saturday 3rd November (10:30am - 4:30pm). This class will take you through the step by step process of making your Lily, including pleat details on the pockets and hem. The class can also help if you are considering making changes to the pattern, such as altering length, doing a bust adjustment or making a sleeveless version.
The session will run for six hours, allowing you plenty of time to cover the key aspects of sewing the Lily. You can visit Tessuti ahead of your class to browse our range of beautiful linens and look at the sample size S dress on display. Our staff can help you assess your size so you can prepare your fabric and cut your pattern pieces ahead of class if you want to maximise your sewing time. If you are unsure about sizing or are contemplating modifications, you can cut your pattern after discussion with the teacher on the day.
Price for the six hour class is $140, and includes a hardcopy version of the Lily Linen Dress pattern. If you have already purchased the pattern we'll provide you with a gift voucher of the same value, redeemable on any purchases made on the day of the class.
All bookings must be made online here and class is strictly limited to five places only. Please note class is best suited to those with some sewing experience including threading and using a sewing machine, sewing to an accurate seam allowance and some experience with setting in sleeves (if you want to make the sleeved version).
