Miss Bella Donna Eve in (modified) Vogue 1250

I instantly spotted Eve at our remnant table in the Surry Hills store a few weeks ago, wearing this dress she made up in summer weight Italian knit Miss Bella Donna (sold out) and she kindly agreed to let me photograph her.

The pattern used was Vogue 1250. Eve says she modified the pattern, by cutting the front piece instead on the bias but maintaining the back pieces as per grainline on the pattern.

Do you know Eve's sewing blog? Visit her at evesewcool. I've just added it to our blog list.

  1. That is a lovely dress and the fabric is gorgeous. I have some similar fabric and wondered why I had ever purchased it as "stripes" do not suit me with my - well let's say girth. This is a perfect solution!
