Say hello to our first pattern of 2017 - the
Iris Dress!
This flattering style incorporates an a-line
shaped lantern skirt with side pockets that feature an upper topstitching detail.
The pattern includes options for both v-neck, sleeveless (Version A - above) and sleeved with round-neck (Version B - below), but you can easily transfer the round neckline to the sleeveless bodice or vice versa.
We've also added this exposed binding between the skirt panels to give the design a little extra oomph!
With no closures, the Iris Dress is supremely comfortable and slips on easily over the head. It also looks super stylish when sewn up in two tones, like this one below...
Suitable fabrics include lightweight or medium weight
linens, cottons, medium weight drapey silks and lightweight wool crepe.
