...but a magical fabric helps too. Winged Convention - an Alexander McQueen 100% cotton - sold out in a flash.
I didn't use a pattern for this skirt. It's just a simple front and back, gathered, with an elastic cased in the band running across the back.
Simple, and elegant - no matter what the age!!! Great thinking on this one...
