I wasn't sure if I should include another review of Vogue 8184 especially since we've had posts about it here and here. But this dress is too stunning not to include in this blog as it is a wonderful example of the versatility of this pattern.
It looks absolutely perfect in Tessuti's Armour Flower, Italian satin stretch black/red floral. In this version of Vogue 8184 Georgia made some slight changes. Firstly the notch in the self band was removed.
A layer of netting was added underneath for slight fullness - it was cut the same as the skirt pattern only longer and fuller and then gathered at the waist and attached to the bodice facing and underlining of the skirt.
In this version - rigalene boning was sewn into the side seams of the inside facings for extra support and Georgia used our elastic bra straps...very Dolce and Gabbana.
Georgia's beautiful vintage diamante necklace and bracelet - which used to belong to her mother - completed the look and ....
last but not least....how perfect are these Robert Robert shoes?
