Kobe Navy Static Tunic

Yep, you can say I've become a little obsessed with the Japanese Pattern Books but I can't think of anything better to take along to make up in my weekly sewing classes. I'm happy to be ticking off the patterns to try from my very looong list. Here's this weeks project and easily a great pattern to whip up in a couple of hours (minus the *pattern tracing and cutting time of course). I've been itching to make up Japanese 100% Cotton Kobe Navy Static and I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out in this pattern.

My tunic top is as per pattern, but I did lengthen it 2"(5cm) and the back neck facing detail is different to Lisa's. I attached it to the inside and is without the keyhole opening as the neck is wide enough to pull over the head.

Think I'll attempt this pattern next.

*Thank you Margaret
