Here's another quick, clever and striking skirt made up by Janet. The feature fabric is our
Cream Rosette Mesh and is lined in Grey Burdie Orbit, a viscose/elastane jersey.
Picture proof that with a little imagination, this kind of fabric works perfectly for something other than bridal or formal wear!

Love your skirt Janet! ;)
ReplyDeleteMe too! Would never have pictured it in a straight skirt...very clever! You look lovely Janet x
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteAdorable...I think the nearby independent fabric store sells this or something like it. It has an entire bridal department.
ReplyDeleteI love that! I've seen fabric like that but never knew what to do with it! I love that skirt! It's couture and casual at the same time!
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! Wow!
ReplyDeleteSeriously love it - elegantly casual.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFabulous use of the fabric. I would love to see how you finished the waistband.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this fabric at Fabricana sewn as a Prom Dress. I was trying to imagine it as a skirt but couldn't so went on to other fabric. Thanks for the inspiration! Now that I see it as a skirt, it looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi I would like to pin the image of the rose skirt above to my PInterest board. I don't see a blog policy allowing this, so I want to ask permission first. Thank you.
ReplyDeletefirewifeelly.com - no problem to pin on Pinterest. Thanks for asking!
DeleteBeautiful fabric!
