Pattern Review - McCalls 6027
Hands up, how many of us are still wanting to make up summer clothes despite the obvious change in weather? Me! me! me! ... and so it seems is Charlotte, who wore this dress to work today. Charlotte say she'd been keen to finally make up our Japanese 100% Cotton 'Kobe Cream Static' (back in stock) in pattern McCalls 6027
The pattern's a fabulous flared dress with princess seams and scooped neckline, there is also an option to add godets for added fullness. Charlotte made up view D (without the godets) with the cap sleeves shown in view B. Charlotte says she only took it in slightly at the waist, the rest is as per the pattern and was very easy and quick to make up.
A great dress pattern and definitely one to add to the pattern collection!
It's beautiful. Another case of 'looks dreary on the pattern sleeve but fabulous in real life'! And the fabric is gorgeous - shame it's out of stock.
ReplyDeleteWhat Jo said...I swear you Tessuti employees and shoppers do the most amazing things with the plainest patterns.

ReplyDeleteBeautifully fitted - I like this without the godets - great!
