Pattern Review - Vogue 1207

Had a wonderful couple of days spent at Tessuti Melbourne over the weekend and whilst in the shop on Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting Julia. We spoke about a stunning dress I had seen featured over at Burdastyle in our 100% silk twill 'Coloured Glass' - sadly this fabric has sold out completely (bummed that even I missed out on this one!)

Julia kindly agreed to let me post these gorgeous images. Julia says:

As promised, here are some pictures of the dress I made back in January using the fabulous 'Coloured glass' silk twill from your store; I used Vogue Pattern #1207

Julia pointed out over on Burdastyle :

If you are thinking of making this pattern, do yourself a favour and make a muslin first. The sizing was all over the place for me, but luckily the dress lived happily ever after.

So S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G! Now I'm really upset that I missed out on this fabric...

  4. She looks amazing! The dress fits perfectly and the fabric is beautiful. I've been dying to figure out how to do a side bun like that, but with no luck :)
