Introducing our (NEW) Jac Shirt Pattern!

Introducing our latest Tessuti Pattern - The Jac Shirt. This relaxed pattern is suitable for all ages and body shapes. The collared shirt features great design detailing including angled side splits, a wide and asymmetrical hem and three quarter length sleeves with slits. Perfect as a transseasonal item, suitable fabrics for this shirt include lightweight linen, silk crepe de chine, soft drapey cotton and cotton/silk blends. Not suitable for stiff fabrics.

I made the sample above in our 100% Linen Water Grid Como, an ideal light weight linen for this A-line shaped shirt with lovely wide hem detailing on the body and sleeves.

  2. I was in Tessuti yesterday. As I turned around to leave I almost bumped into her mum who was wearing this shirt. I had no idea that it was to feature here today.

Let me tell you I was so taken aback with this beautiful top. I particularly fell in love with the fabric. It has as you can see a lovely weave---as good as you will ever see. The red was slightly dark, a very rich tone. And the red and white on the black white grey background was quite luscious. Classic but so modern at the same time.

As I stopped myself bumping into her, I glanced at the cut of the shirt to see what style had been used with such a big pattern. This pattern and this fabric were, as they say, made in heaven.

This shirt in this fabric is what I would call an unstructured jacket and could be worn for quite a dressy occasion. But would look equally as good with black denim.

    Yours,
Shopper from the days when Tessuti started out in a tiny shop along the arcade from the current Chatswood shop.
