Two-Tone Eva Dress

We've had a fantastic response to our latest pattern, the Eva Dress. It's the ideal dress to pack for travelling, perfect for a hot summers day and it's very versatile too.

Eva has already made up a third version using a double sided steel/coffee cotton/metal blend from her stash, utilising both sides to make a two-tone Eva Dress. She cut the centre panel pieces on the reverse side as well as the bindings for the bodice and hemline which she turned towards the right side of the garment.

You could achieve a similar effect with our crinkle linen Ocean Deep Giolica and Cinnamon Giolica or play around with any colour combinations, striped or satin/matte contrasts.

Eva is one versatile and stylish lady (and pattern)!

  1. I love this dress, especially with the two tone and the crinkly fabric just makes it. (and the binding on the hem!)

  2. Eva does look good and love the two tone version, clever girl! I bought the pattern, live in Brisbane and cannot wait to make mine, sleeveless version for me but like the sleeve as well, thanks for the continued story of 'Eva' and her dress.

  3. Congratulations Eva from me - Ewa! I love your very stylish look (actually, three of them) and it has inspired me to buy the pattern. The bindings in the different colourways are a brilliant idea. Can't wait for the pattern to arrive.
