Here's one of those patterns that you might never look twice at until it walks through the door. Which it fortunately did, on a regular Melbourne customer. It's Vogue 8028, view A, but with short sleeves.
The fabric is our linen/viscose Black Check (remember Colette's sundress?)
We're often asked to recommend shirt dress patterns, so this one's definitely going in the memory bank...

ReplyDeleteInteresting that the dress looks fuller made up than in the pic on the pattern envelope. I try to stick to [patts with photos on the front, but I know they can fudge them too.
Now, if only I could muster up the energy to make up a couple of the shirt dress patterns I have in stash...
