Little Bow Black top
The thing about having two girls is that you can't just make for one!
Here goes another top made from McCalls 6038 in 100% cotton Little Bow Black. I changed the frill the second time, gathering it and attaching it below the elastic casing.
I love the variation of this pattern. Could you show us a close-up of the bottom of the shirt and how it is finished? Also, a step-by-step frill how-to would be amazing!
Such a fun fabric and she looks so sweet (sorry -cool) in that design. One daughter keeps me busy, let alone two - so lucky we can sew for them.
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! I know what you mean about not being able to sew for just one :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous alteration of this pattern. What a cool summer outfit.
ReplyDeleteI have this pattern - don't know if I could pull off a romper for casual-wear, but I may make it this summer as a beach cover-up.

ReplyDeleteOk Natalie
ReplyDeletewill do a step by step next week, as I have to make one up for a friend.
