Reannon's dress does a spectacular job of showcasing this digital print in all it's autumnal glory. The pattern she used is Vogue 8827 (very sadly OOP) View C.
The simple drape and fall of the silk complements the dress' full length and exaggerated lapel to perfection! It was the winning combination of simple, classic elegance that made this our favourite entry.
Second prize went to Debbie with her knockout bias cut dress featuring shoulder cut outs. And self drafted, no less. The fit is SO beautiful - go check out more photos on her blog over here.
And in Third Place - with her 'dress of swishy swishyness' - is Rachel! The fitted bodice and full skirt give this fabric a whole other fresh, fun look. She used a vintage 80s pattern and more details and pics are on her blog.
You can see all the submitted garments over on our In Season Pinterest board. Thanks to EVERYONE who entered and we hope you enjoy wearing all of your wonderful makes x
Wow, congratulations! These are all fabulous, such gorgeous fabric and creativity.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations ladies :)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for such a fun competition. I'm so honoured to have been selected since there were so many great entries. I've already been wearing my dresses a lot. The fabric is so lovely and I expect to get a lot more wear out of this particular dress for "date nights" this Summer ;-).
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!! You must be thrilled :)
